WebShow Module for the XOOPS Content Management System
The WebShow module for the XOOPS content management system will catalog, syndicate and play Flash media files, directories and web feeds. WebShow is also a web feed generator that will read and filter a media directory, generate an XSPF playlist and publish a web feed link button for syndication.

Usage
Webmasters can use WebShow as a presentation module to display copyright approved audio (mp3), videos (flv), animations (swf) and image (jpg, gif, png) slide shows with music. Webcasters can archive, show and generate webfeeds of their podcast - vodcast library. Educators could use WebShow to create an online multimedia lesson and notify students using web feed syndication.
Musicians, video producers and graphic artists can catalog, display and syndicate samples of their creative works. Indie Music sites can promote bands by genre, give each band a full web page, billboard specific acts and distribute multimedia files and playlists. Perfect for Creative Commons licensed acts.
Notes:
WebShow module uses Jeroen Wijering's JW Media Player which is under a Non-Profit Share-A-Like Creative Commons License . Commercial users will need to buy a commercial license from Jeroen.(appx $15USD single and $140USD for a blanket license
Depending on your version of the XOOPS core, WebShow may require additional XOOPS classes and modules that provide functions such as WYSIWYG editors, captcha confirmation and Tags. Please review WebShow's install document to determine your additional file needs. If necessary the addons, including Frameworks, class/xoopseditors and the TAG module by D.J. (phppp) are available here.
You have to upload media files with an FTP client. There is no media upload thru the module.
Front side users can only submit a URL pointing to a single media file, xml webfeed or embed link. They can not upload media files.
